If there's one thing I'm really bad at it's remembering to shave my legs. I just cannot be bothered with it at all and when Winter comes, well... as long as I stick to trousers and leggings right? But apparently (according to my boyfriend) that's not the attitude to have, so in the effort of being a good girlfriend and keeping my pins extra smooth over the colder months as well as only in the Summer, I'm going to be trying out a couple of Hair removal methods over the next couple of weeks to find out the best options for us lazy ladies!
First up is Veet's Spray on Hair Removal Cream which honestly I was quite sceptical about at first. In the past I've tried other Veet products such as their Hair Removal Creams - the one that comes in a tube - and to me this one was always such a faff, I used to absolutely hate getting the stuff all over my hands and then I could never be bothered to wait the 5-10 minutes because almost every time I'd sponge it off too early / too quickly and I'd end up having to shave my legs anyway... However I have to say I've had such a more positive experience with their Spray on Hair Removal Cream. It was so easy to spray all over my legs, although I must say I did make quite a bit of mess with the spray that didn't quite get to my legs, so when the bottle suggests spraying them whilst standing in the bath / shower please listen to it! I really liked how quickly it was to get my legs covered properly and loved that I didn't have to get my hands covered in the cream - absolute dream! I then sat in the bath with my legs hanging over the side and watched some Gilmore Girls on my laptop (hello Netflix USA) whilst I waited for the Veet to work it's magic. around 10 minutes later (just after the opening credits) I set to work with my mini spatula, which comes with the bottle and started scraping away the cream gently. I honestly don't think I've ever had a cream hair removal product work as well as this one. All of my hair that had been covered (I take full responsibility for not covering my ankles) was easily wiped away and I was left with very smooth legs. There was no trying to re-cover some pesky hairs with the cream for another couple of minutes, or shaving bits that were clearly too stubborn to come away, it was just easy and I was really happy with the results. I know I'm posting this review first, but honestly this has been my favourite hair removal method so far and I'll definitely come back to this one again and again!
Have you ever tried Veet's Hair Removal Spray? What did you think of the results?
