Can we just take a second to appreciate these photos please? I mean, they're not the be all and end all of amazing images, but I have to say I am pretty damn chuffed with these ones! As you can see from the (really beautiful) images above today I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on the new Clarins Autumn collection. I've been waiting to write this post for quite some time now actually, but I really wanted to put the products through their paces before talking about them to you.
With the Autumn collection Clarins have really nailed it - and I'm not just saying that because I love Clarins. There isn't a single item from the pieces that I've tried that I'm not a fan of and I already wanted to repurchase the mascara! More on that later though. Up first are the new Clarins Skin Detox Fluid BB Creams, a really lovely base that evens out the skin tone. If you read my blog regularly then you'll know I'm a massive fan of the Clarins Everlasting + foundation and so when I heard about this new release I got very excited. I was very kindly sent two shades to try out as I thought I'd be more of a 01 fair when in reality I was a 00 Light because I am pale as hell! The BB cream comes in only four shades so it's a little tougher to match than their extensive range of foundation shades, but I found that 00 Light blends so well into my skin! I love BB Creams in general but this one is definitely a new favourite and it's definitely my new favourite for the perfect base for a 'no makeup, makeup' look. Not that I'm a massive fan of using my fingers to apply my makeup (usually anyway) but I've found that on days where I'm in a rush or can't be bothered to wear much makeup, it's so easy to pump a bit out onto my fingers and then apply it to my face that way. I've found that the warmth of my hands make it so much nicer to blend and get a really lovely finish that even with a beauty blender I don't normally get.
Another new release from Clarins Autumn range are these eyeshadow quads. I was very kindly sent over two shade ranges - 02 Rosewood and 03 Brown. I have always been a big fan of Clarins eye shadow but the quad in 02 Rosewood has literally become my go-to recently. It's amazing for an everyday look or for vamping it up a little more in the evenings. I'm a huge fan of purple tones anyway so for this to come set ready for a gorgeous smokey eye (with a step-by-step instruction image too) it's the perfect mini palette for me. I love that it's packed with four shades ready and is small and compact to take with you on the go too. For a day to evening look, it's easy to pop in your bag and spice up your look at any time! Clarins shadows are ones that I have loved for a while now; with their cream to powder consistency they're really great to wear as they are or on a wet brush which makes them great for both subtle or dramatic looks. Super pigmented and yet still really buildable (which is always something I love in a great eye product) they're a brand of shadows that I find myself continuously going back to time and time again. One thing I do find with these shadows is that there can be a bit of fall out when using these dry, which to be honest isn't the biggest of all problems because I do my eyeshadow before I go in with my base (FYI greatest thing I ever decided to do - so much easier to fix a messed up eye) but for those of you who haven't caught on to this fab tip yet then there is sometimes the need to pack on an extra layer of concealer to tidy up a bit.
Last but not least I want to talk to you about my number 1 favourite mascara ever. Having recently over taken it's sister (Clarins Truly Waterproof Mascara) as my fave lash product ever, the new Supra Volume Mascara is also another new release from Clarins that does not disappoint! Packed with colour and volume this new beauty actually leaves your lashes looking fuller even when you're not using it! I have been using this mascara every day since I received it and will 100% be getting this again and again when it's finally dried out. For me, a mascara has to make a statement; it has to visibly make a difference in volume and colour, be really easy to apply and remove and not clump and this new one from Clarins ticks all of the boxes. With one sweep of this across my lashes I immediately see a massive difference and to be honest, when I'm having a lazy day, that's all I really need on them. I add one or two more layers when I'm wanting a more dramatic look or am going on a night out, but I barely ever feel the need to go OTT with it because it's like this mascara just gets me and just is perfect. Can you tell I'm in love with this mascara?! For a girl who doesn't wear false lashes (mostly because she's rubbish at putting them on) this mascara definitely makes up for it and still looks 100% natural at the same time.
Once again, Clarins have released a collection that I can't really find a fault with. I've been a huge Clarins fan for years now and can always rely on them for a killer range. Let me know in the comments what your favourite Clarins products are, I'd love to know what you love! Also, let me know if you're going to be picking any of these new products up, it would be great to know what you think too!

This is such a cute range. I love Clarins but I haven't tried a lot of things from there. What I have tried I did end up loving though :)
