Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara Review

If there's one thing that I hoard most when it comes to makeup it's my mascaras. I can't help it; to me a great mascara can make or break a makeup look and when I find a fave, I really hate parting with it. I think it's safe to say that right now I probably have around 5 old, dried-up mascaras lying in my makeup drawer that I can't even use, but they're just so amazing, I don't want to part with them. It's weird to admit actually and even typing this makes me sound like an absolute crazy lady, but I like to think to myself that it's a reminder to repurchase it. The thing is, I very rarely get round to repurchasing because I'm always trying out new mascaras. The newest to my collection this time around is the new Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara, which is definitely very different from anything that I've tried before and again has become one of my new favourites very quickly.

1st Trimester Update, Pregnancy Symptoms & Essential Products.

I have been dying to write this blog post for so long.  To put it bluntly; I have hated the first few months of being Pregnant. I'm not going to beat around the bush and say it's been great and that I'm glowing because honestly it's been shit and I've hated pretty much every second of it. I thought I'd write this post purely because I've not been enjoying it and because to be quite honest I'd really love some feedback from any of you that are pregnant or that have gone through a pregnancy because I'd love to know that I'm not the only one that's been feeling like this. And I also because I find these blog posts / videos really interesting and I'm hoping that I can help anyone else feeling like this in the future. 

Rimmel Brow Shake Filling Powder Review

Last month I received a pretty exciting package from Rimmel including one of their newest releases; the Brow Shake Filling Powder is part of their new #browlikecara range / campaign and one of the most exciting releases that I've received so far. My brows are always a bit of an issue for me; since moving back to Wiltshire I haven't been able to just pop to Benefit every four weeks for my regular wax and tint and so shaping my own brows and getting them exactly how I like them has definitely been a struggle. I've so far taken to maintaining them myself (don't shout at me!) and so far so good, but I have felt like I've needed a bit of help when it comes to making them a bit fuller and have a bit more body to them. I've been using all of my usual products to try and create the kind of brow that I like, but nothings quite impressed me like this new release has.

February Favourites 2017

I have not written a favourites post on this blog in a hot minute. In fact I think it's been around 9 months since my last blog post devoted to telling you products I was loving at that time. And that I apologise for. I'm a massive lover of favourites posts, mostly because I'm extremely nosey, but also because I just love seeing what's new out there and a good ol' favourites post is usually where you'd find that information. February has been the month of new products for me and there's been so many that I'm trying and so many that I'm yet still to try, but these are a couple that have really stuck out to me this month. 

We have something to tell you... I'm Pregnant!

So, if from the title of this blog post, or from the photo above, you still haven't quite grasped the big news that I've got to tell you all: Steve and I are having a baby! I've been dying to tell you all since we found out but have obviously been keeping it a secret until we hit that all important 12 week mark and had a scan of our beautiful little bean. It's come as a bit of a surprise but we both couldn't be happier about the news and are now eagerly counting down the days until my due date.
