At the halfway point in my pregnancy I'm really starting to get excited now, not only because I'm that little bit closer to holding my baby in my arms, but because after yesterday's 20 week scan, we now know the sex of our baby. I honestly can't believe I actually managed to make it a whole 20 weeks without knowing; It's been actually driving me crazy and I'm sure because of that I've been driving my boyfriend crazy. Being a massive shopaholic, how could I not know the gender of my little baby before he/she is born? But I am so happy to announce that Steve and I are expecting a baby girl (if you couldn't tell by all of the pink I've bought) towards the end of August.
We are literally over the moon and although we would have been equally as happy with a little baby boy, I have to say I am really happy that we're going to be having a little princess. I've gone all gooey over all of the baby girl clothes already and since finding out yesterday have already made a couple of purchases of the most adorable baby bits! I should be back in the next week with a 20 week update for you all so make sure you stay following to keep up to date but so far, our little girl is looking perfect and really healthy!
