Seventeen Skin Wow Concealer Review

I have found the most incredible £4.99 dupe for the YSL Touche Eclat. Yep, you heard it, something that doesn't break the bank has taken the number one spot in my heart and knocked my YSL fave off of the top spot for concealers. The Seventeen Skin Wow Concealer has been in my makeup routine every day since I received it a couple of weeks ago and has replaced my coveted high end fave. I was very generously gifted this inbthe shade 'fair' and I have to say I really love the colouring. It's quite a warm shade and although initially it looked a little too yellow and deep for my skin tone, after popping it on and blending it in with my beloved damp Beauty Blender it seems to be the perfect shade for me. I have been using this to highlight my face more than to conceal but this is also a super good concealer (which is kind of good come to think of it as that's it main purpose in life). I've been using this under my eyes, down my nose, in the centre of my forehead and on my chin - basicaly some of the highest points of my face and where a natural highlight would usually fall. I've been so into my contouring an highlighting recently and this product just makes life so much easier when it comes to a quick application in the morning before work.

Seventeen actually have come up with a super easy 'non-touring' technique which just uses this product and a spot of the Seventeen Skin Wow highlighter (which will be coming up in another post soon) for a super sleek finish and dewy look for the summer. It looks just as fab as a full-made face and doesn't require half of the faffing that a fully chiseled contour look does of a morning! I'm absolutely loving the look and it's become a go-to for me of recent - I can't wait for the summer months so that looks like this won't just be part of my 'lazy girl' routine but of my fully made up and thought out makeup looks!

I'd never tried any Seventeen products before this one and I have to say that (especially for the bargain prices) I am super impressed with their products and am looking forward to trying out even more of their collection in the future! You can buy Seventeen products at Boots.com or in store!
