Year after year there isn't a collection I look forward to more than the Clarins Autumn range. When I think about my favourite style of makeup the autumnal colours of berry and smokey blues and greys always stand out the most in my mind and this year the Clarins Graphik Autumn range has embodied that perfectly. A good smokey eye and a berry lip with a bobble hat and a chunky knit has been my go-to look for the past couple of Autumn's now and this year that will definitely be no exception. The Clarins Autumnal makeup ranges never disappoint and this year when a few pieces were popped through my door I got very excited as to what was on offer.

The most eye catching from the range and the one product I'm always drawn to first was the individual Ombre Matte eyeshadow in shade Midnight Blue and although this isn't the kind of shade I'd usually be drawn to in the shops or would usually choose to wear myself, it's absolutely gorgeous and perfect for Autumnal makeup looks. Of an evening smoked into the outer corner or used under my lower lash line this shade looks gorgeous and really makes the look stand out. As my eyes are already really blue I don't like using too much of this as it can look a little odd but for a small accent of colour it works really well and really makes my eyes pop. As always the Ombre Matte shadows are really creamy and work well applied either dry or with a slightly wet brush and have a great longevity.

This year the Joli Rouge lipstick shades released into this collection are a little lighter than I expected, the usually deep berry tones have been lifted slightly and are more of a subtle transition into Winter colours. I was kindly sent two shades of the three in the new Graphik range and could not be happier with either. Shades like this look so great against the contrast of my hair when it's let loose and paired with a deep eye colour too are just my go-to for Autumn time. If you haven't tried the Joli Rouge lipsticks before then firstly, are you okay? because these lipsticks are some of the butteriest around and honestly are some of my all time favourites. The longevity of them is brilliant and although after eating, a little top up is required, their pigment is beautiful and pretty consistent with every shade there is. These latest additions are no exception and are just as beautiful as their predecessors and with shades ready for the transition into Autumn, Clarins have nailed it again with these ones.

The Clarins Lip Definer also has a new shade in the latest release and I have to say 05, Roseberry is absolutely beautiful for this time of year. Creamy and precise the Clarins Lip Definers are always ones to impress and this addition is no different with the way it lines the lips perfectly. At £17.50 they're not to everyone's budget but for a lip liner that doesn't bleed and that primes your lips ready for lipstick application that lasts so much longer through the day, to me it's worth it. A staple colour like this is perfect for your Autumn lipstick wardrobe and can also be worn throughout the rest of the year too.

Lastly for the Graphik Autumn collection from Clarins for 2017 is the stunning Eyeshadow Quad in the new Autumn shade 'Forest'. As you'll know if you've read one of my Clarins reviews before I'm a massive fan of these quads and although the colours on this latest release aren't quite to my usual taste (or ones that I'll probably reach for all that often) this palette is again another fab launch from the brand. Deep blues and earthy greens are (although not to my taste) perfect for this time of year. As I have blue eyes I tend to steer clear of similar shadow shades but for the Autumn/Winter months and for people with other eye colours I could see this palette being a firm favourite. As a whole the shadows are great and as with all of Clarins quads, are beautiful either applied dry or on a slightly damp brush. Sadly they're not overly pigmented when they are applied dry with a fluffy brush but packed on with a slightly more dense brush or even wet these are absolutely gorgeous.

As always Clarins have impressed with this collection and it's always a range I'll continue to recommend! This Autumn collection is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait for the new SS collection already - I'm even still in love with the last Summer collection (which you can read a review of here).  Have you tried any of these Clarins products before? I'd love to know your thoughts in the comments!
