Event | Lush Spa Bath Opening Party

This week I was lucky enough to attend the Opening Party for the Lush Spa in Bath. I live locally and so it was really nice to get a Blogger / Press invitation to the night. I must admit, I've been so excited for the spa to open for some time now and after some live demonstrations of the treatments they will be offering, I'm even more tempted to get one booked in. We had a great night with Champagne on arrival and some delicious Vegan food (not usually my thing but the Avocado mixer and raw caramel slices were amaze). We set of in groups of 8 or so to explore the spa downstairs and witness some live treatment demonstrations. Each 'Lushie' that described the particular treatments definitely knew were what they were on about and sold each of the packages so well - I'd be surprised If I didn't have a treatment booked by this time next month (come on pay day). The spa is designed to look like a homely country kitchen and my God it was so pretty; with absolutely no sound travelling down from the store above, the spa was such a tranquil spot. Dimmed lighting, cosy atmosphere and heating throughout made me feel so at home and before I'd even stepped foot into one of the treatment rooms I was already starting to feel so relaxed.

In total there are four treatment rooms (I think - I was a bit dazed by the lovely scents and calming music in each room) including a double room and three singles. Each room has heated treatment beds and are suited to the individual treatments. Within the Bath Lush Spa there is actually also a bath tub (pictured below) - Bath is one of only four Lush Spa's to actually have a bath tub and it gives such a great relaxing end to a treatment. There is also the most gorgeous shower ever and a lovely 'dining room' table and chairs in the entrance area where you can first sit with your therapist and discuss the kind of treatment you would like to have - some are even tailor made to suit the individual which I think is so great for a personal relaxation massage!

I had such a great evening with some blogging friends and can't wait to get down to the Lush Spa myself. It opens this coming Monday (June 1st) and you can book treatments now! But don't worry if you can't get down to the spa itself, there's also a lovely Lush Spa gift set out now which includes some gorgeous products for you to try yourself at home. At the end of the night we were generously gifted one of these to try out ourselves!

Lifestyle | Hometown Loving

I don't know if I've mentioned this at all but towards the end of the Summer I will be moving to Manchester. It's definitely something that I never thought would be happening but after realising that Jordan would be moving back up North and him asking me to go with him, I finally came to the decision to take the plunge and move away from home. Obviously this is a huge opportunity and massive step for me and I'll hopefully be blogging the whole journey but before that all starts and before I get in to talking about my new home, new life and new job, I thought I'd take a look at my current home town and let you all know a little bit about my home and some of my favourite places here. I'm definitely going to miss it, especially with being a country girl through and through!

I live in a little town in Wiltshire called Calne. I was originally born in Chippenham which is only about 8 miles away from where I live now. Calne is one of those country towns that doesn't really have a lot going on; when I was younger I used to say that the only decent thing this town had was the bus out of it, but now that I'm a bit older and I think I've started appreciating its beauty a lot more. Is that weird? That I appreciate my town's beauty? I don't know... As you all know one of my hobbies is working out, I love frequenting bootcamp sessions and going swimming and I've recently started running a bit too. When it comes to exercises like this, Calne is the best place for it. Every road out of Calne leads into the countryside and the majority of them have amazing little country roads and foot paths to run along. One of my absolute favourite places to go in my hometown is my gym and although that sounds ridiculous as it's only a gym, I love it because it's so quiet and peaceful. My gym is set in the outskirts of the town; surrounded by fields and attached to a camping site, it's the optiemy of country and I absolutely love it. Surprise, surprise, my second favourite place around town ins a place called Castle Fields, a grassy area set aside from the centre with a fitness trail and picnic benches. I struggle so much with the monkey bars, but I really love how peaceful it is and yet how it's so close to the main roads.

I think the beauty of my town is that no matter where abouts you go, there's always something to see, even when you're driving out of town, Cherhill White Horse and Monument catches your eye. It's really lovely and although there's not a lot going on here it's something I'll miss moving into the city.
Another thing that I'll miss about my town will be our summer event, Calnefest - I know, I know, it sounds cheesy as hell, but it's really nice seeing such a small town pull off such a good event. I must say, I've only ever been through once but it's a lovely atmosphere and it's nice to just sit on the grass on a sunny day, sipping on a cider (total west country style) and listening to some local bands. A lot of local events are held in my little town and I've even held one myself before (Bentley's Got Talent at my Secondary school, totally thought I was Simon Cowell!) - it can be tough work when you work alone but with the help of  companies like Eventbrite and their great Event Management and Ticket Selling pages, events can be made easier for you to run.

I really think I'm going to miss my town so much when I move - I'm so looking forward to the experience but being a country girl I'm definitely going to miss being in the countryside a lot. What do you love about your hometown? Do you have different opinions of it now that you're older too?

WIN | Glamping Weekend Away with Get The Label

When I was little my family and I loved getting away for the weekend on a camping holiday. I loved spending time with my parents and sister setting up our tent and exploring for the weekend but as I've grown up the desire to camp slowly disappeared and it's definitely something I've been missing recently.  In true blogger fashion though I've now found out about Glamping and absolutely love the idea! Glamping is basically 'Glam Camping' and is about a fun weekend away staying in 'luxury' tents, wigwams or cabins with friends - the same camping experience but without the hassle!

Get The Label are currently holding a competition that I thought I'd let you all know about as it seems perfect for the Summer! You could Win the chance for you and up to 3 friends to spend a weekend Glamping at one of Wigwam Holidays 35 UK locations. All you have to do is fill in the form on their website! I've entered myself and would absolutely love the experience! The total Prize includes 2 nights glamping stay for four people, a £75 Get The Label Voucher and a Glamping Survival Kit! As you can see from my photos below this Glamping Survival Kit is absolutely incredible too!

The Glamping Survival Kit* that I was kindly sent by Get the Label should be the same as the winner  will receive and it contains some really great things including some Havaianas flip-flops and an Olixar Toughbeats Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker! It's such an amazing competition and you can enter it via their Competition Entry Form!

Will you be entering?

Fashion | How to look good exercising!

Now we all know that exercising isn't the most glamorous of all things. You get sweaty, your makeup runs and sometimes your face does that annoying red - blotchy thing that just won't disappear (or is that just me?). Whatever exercise it is that you're doing, there's going to be a rather high chance that you're not looking great doing it! Of course, it can depend on what exercise you're doing but from my experience, if you're at Bootcamp, in a Personal Training session or even on a run, then chances are you're going to look a lot less hot when you're finished! I don't think I'll ever find the solution to sweating less whilst I work out, but one thing I have realised is that you can definitely look a little better if you're wearing the right kit! Ever since I started exercising 'properly' last year I have become obsessed with fitness clothing. New sports bras, leggings, tanks, you name it, I love it! Looking good whilst I exercise is slowly becoming an obsession of mine and I just cannot help myself from buying more and more. Through this post I thought I'd show you some of my faves and why I love them!

The first kit that I am currently obsessed with are these two lovely pieces from South Beach. The JoJo Crop* is literally one of the comfiest things I have ever worn. From receiving it in the post, to wearing it at bootcamp that evening it literally did not leave my body. If it was socially acceptable to wear sports bras all day long I would totally be wearing this one! I love how soft it is and how supportive it is. Now, I don't have the biggest boobs going, but I definitely still need quite a bit of support when it comes to running around a field! I'm a 32DD and this is a Small that I'm wearing in the pictures above. It fits so so well and really sticks those suckers down when it comes to actually doing the exercise and not parading around the field taking photos! At £15 it's so much better value than some of the bigger sports brands I'll be mentioning below and it does an equally amazing job!

The Marcia Leggings* are also a new favourite of mine. I have to admit when I first tried these on, I instantly hated them, but after completing a tough bootcamp session in them, they're one of my new favourites! I'm used to lycra when it comes to my leggings, I love how it sucks me in but is still comfortable to wear, but these bad boys are 90% polyester and 10% Elastane which completely threw me out of my comfort zone. Again I am wearing a small in the photos above, I'm a UK size 8 (sometimes 10 for my thighs and big bum!) but these were actually a tad too big around my waist. I have what my Mum likes to call a 'hollow back', which basically means that just above my bum my back dips in a bit making it difficult to find trousers or jeans that fit me perfectly - I like it as it means I have a big bum and small waist, but it can be a pain! These leggings fit me perfectly around my legs and thighs, but were a bit big and saggy around my waist and stomach, not something I would usually wear, but in this instance with exercise it actually wasn't a bad thing at all! They were so comfortable with running around the field and doing squats (see photos below for some pose-y action shots) the only down side to them was that they became a little scratchy when I was sweating and my body was heating up! Other than that, they're perfect for working out in and looking good! I love the design too, really nice to pick up what could be a boring pair of leggings!

Some of my other favourite pieces of fitness clothing are the three outfits below. In outfit One I am wearing a luminous orange crop from Matalan - (they don't sell this one any more but I've linked to a similar one). I really love the vibrancy of this sports bra and again it is really supportive. I'm wearing a size 8 and it fits really well, for just £8 Matalan have some gorgeous pieces for great value! In the same photo, I'm wearing a pair of Tesco F&F Active Leggings. For £14 these are such good leggings for exercising in! They can get a bit see-through as you squat (sensible underwear please ladies) but other than that they're a really great pair for what I like to call 'throw-away' sportwear - ie. the ones I don't mind getting really muddy, because they're really affordable and wash so well!

In photo number two, I'm wearing my favourite Adidas Techfit Sports Bra in Black; For £22 this one is a little pricier, but you can also get it in SportsDirect (I think). Again, it's really comfy and super supportive - I'm not sure what else to say about this one but for running and bootcamp this is my go-to for a basic every time! The leggings I'm wearing in this photo are the Nike Legendary Leggings  (I think, I cut the tags out) and I bought these in the Swindon McArthur Glen Outlet and so I literally cannot find these online anywhere, but I bought them for £13 reduced from £65, so they were an absolute bargain! These have to be my all time favourite legging for running in! I love the crazy print as it appears to slim me down a little and they're also so comfortable (I feel like this is a running feature here). They're also really really soft and fit really nicely. If Nike weren't so expensive, I'd have a LOT more pairs of these - back to the outlet soon!

Finally in my last image I'm again wearing the Matalan crop, but this time I'm also wearing the Tesco F&F active leggings in this crazy grey / black print. They're not quite the same fit as the black ones in my first photo but they are equally as good for exercising in. They have a panelled top which is great for sucking your stomach in (she says, having tucked it in for this photo - it was a progress photo from a couple of months back!) and again they're comfortable - not as comfortable as some of the rest, but I wouldn't say no to wearing them all day long! These ones are also slightly cheaper at £10 - total bargain!

As you can see I have a complete mixture of low and high end pieces within my ever growing collection - and this isn't even half of it! I'm so obsessed with buying new sports gear every time I see a bargain and am actually looking forward to pay day so I can get my hands on some more! What are your favourite brands for exercising in? Do you love a bargain like me? Let me know in the comments, I'd love some more inspiration!

Beauty | Currently Coveting

This month I have gone a little crazy with my spending. I think that the impending life change that I'm about to make with my move to Manchester has gotten me a little scared for my future beauty purchases and I went a little overboard. Because of this, for the rest of the month all I can do is create wish lists of all the items I still want to buy. With having to pay rent soon and all of the bills that come with that, I'm really going to have to buckle down on my spending soon (sob!). In light of all of this, I thought I'd share one of my most coveted wish lists right now; it's one that I probably won't manage to purchase even one bit from for a while, but it's still up there in my heart.

Zoeva Rose Gold Complete Eye Set | £56.95

Lifestyle | Essential Healthy Lifestyle Companion

When I first started regularly exercising I was quite disheartened when I wasn't losing as much weight as I'd hoped. After starting Personal Training sessions I learnt that my diet was the thing that was holding me back and as soon as I started changing the way I was eating  I started seeing more results. I definitely think that healthy eating is a must when you're trying to tone up and change your lifestyle and I tell you now, it's not been the easiest thing for me to change. Getting the motivation to get to the gym / go for a run sometimes is often where I slack; or you know, when it's someone's birthday and there's a sh*t tonne of cakes at work! It's been hard but with a healthy balance of what I've been eating and the exercise I've been doing (come on ladies, pick up those weights) I've started to see some small improvements. One of my favourite new bathroom residents to help me track my weight gain and weight loss has to be the Ozeri WeightMaster Digital II Scales*. These scales have become such a massive part of my fitness journey and have helped me over the last couple of weeks with showing me where I've been going wrong.

The Ozeri Weight Master bathroom scales are the perfect 'keep fit' companion. Not only do they accurately measure your weight, but they also cleverly calculate your weight loss / gain and BMI as well. Over the past couple of weeks these scales have been the best thing and the worst thing to me. Obviously when they tell me I've lost a couple kilos they're my best friend, but when they tell me I've gained weight, they're not my favourite piece of equipment. Whether or not I like what they say though, I cannot deny that these scales are amazing. I really love how you can program in set profiles for different people in your house hold; as my Dad has also been using these, it's been good to see how we've both changed without having to reset them every time. There's literally nothing that we need to do other than step onto them and they instantly know who's weight they're measuring. I mean, they're not psychic or anything, they don't know my name, but through your weight they recognise which 'profile' is using them. As you can see in the photos below, after I stood on to weigh myself, they instantly knew that I was profile 1. They show my weight in the top of the screen and my BMI in the lower half. They also have this really cool feature whereby after showing the first screen (top photo) they then change either red or green depending on whether you've lost or gained weight. As you can see the second image below, when I measured myself this time, I'd lost 0.5kg. As the first message is 'L3' this means that the 0.5kg shown is an average weight loss over my last 3 weigh-ins.

I really have to say that these scales have become a favourite of mine. I've never before been an ambassador for bathroom scales as I've usually hated what they've said, but since starting my healthier lifestyle path and exercising more regularly, these have honestly been a great companion for the journey. It's really encouraging to see the green light flash up when I know that I've been working hard, it's definitely a bit of motivation from my scales - who knew! Although it still gets discouraging when the little screen displays as red, I know that it's then determination in me that wants the screen to be green next time. I love them and think they're such a clever idea.

Have you ever tried bathroom scales like these? What are your thoughts on weiging yourself regularly?

You can pick up the Ozeri Weight Master II Scales for £29.99 (down from £69.99) on Amazon!

Beauty | My Skincare Routine

Skincare has become more of a 'thing' in my routine over the last couple of months. It's not something that I've ever liked to skip out on but I think before I began reading up on all of the different benefits and products I was very lazy with my 'routine', if you could actually call it that. The first thing I ditched when it came to it were the makeup wipes; yeah, they get rid of 90% of your makeup but what good are they actually doing for your skin? In sight of this I changed up the whole of my mindset when it comes to my skincare and because of that I'm now carrying around all of the below for my everyday routine when I go on my work travels!

The first step to my routine is using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing water with a cotton pad to remove all of my makeup. There's been a lot of hype around cleansing waters recently and I have to completely agree with the majority of makeup lovers and say that this Garnier one is so far the best of the bunch. It works effortlessly to remove all of my makeup including waterproof mascara, which is always a plus in my books. The REN Evercalm Cleansing Milk is next on my list; I use this with my Magnitone Lucid* to really dig deep into my pores and cleanse my skin of  all the crap that builds up everyday. It gives such a great clean and ever since I began using it I've felt such a difference in my skin. I actually picked this up in a TK Maxx near to me for £9.99 and it's the best thing I think I've purchased in the skincare department recently. You can find my Magnitone review here to read more on why I'm loving this electronic cleansing brush too. Next on my list is the Clarins Toning Lotion, a favourite of mine for toning my skin. It doesn't irritate my skin at all and also  smells amazing!I was first sent this for review last year, but after finishing that bottle I purchased another as this stuff truly is that good. All 3 products here really work well together to keep my blemishes at bay and I've really been loving ensuring I complete my skincare routine and not skipping out on it.

For a weekly extra cleanse I also like to apply a face mask (If I remember, It's not always a weekly thing I must admit). For the last couple of weeks I've been using the Yes to Cucumber Sensitive Skin mask which I also bought from TK Maxx for about £4 (my TK Maxx has been getting so much better recently). This mask is so cooling and so lovely on my skin and as it's designed for sensitive skin it's not too abrasive at all and has done wonders for keeping my pores unclogged and my face clear. Lastly in my skincare routine I moisturise. For the last couple of months I've been using the Origins GinZing Moisturiser before bed, it's amazing for cooling and soothing my skin before bed after toning however I have found that it wakes me up a little more than it should when I'm ready for bed. As an Energising moisturiser it definitely works, but as a night time moisture, it probably wasn't my best idea. I've now changed this to my morning moisturiser, ready to wake me up and have purchased the Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins (all in all not totally sure what that means but it's got to be for night time right?). For the last couple of nights I've been using this and loving the more waxy, balm-like texture and really love the deep moisture that it's giving to my skin!

What do you have as a staple within your skincare routine? Do you have amy must haves??

Lifestyle | Baking Sundays - Chocolate Chunk Cookies

You may have seen this recipe doing the rounds recently as I know this has also been featured in Tanya Burr's book (naughty naughty for nabbing  the recipe there) and on one of Zoella's latest vlogs, but I've followed the one on Vivianna Does Makeup's blog. I decided to give these a bake myself after a friend told me she'd tried them and gave them rave reviews. I'm not a massive baker but I do love getting in the kitchen every now and again and whipping up a few goodies. In fact as I type Jordan has now jumped in behind me and is baking up some brownies! We're having a bit of a weekend of it by the looks of it, as we didn't get each other easter eggs (we were too late and they had all sold out) we decided to get baking. My cookies are still cooling but of course I've had a naughty nibble and they are delicious!

Ingredients

200g Unsalted Butter
300g Caster Sugar
1 Large Egg
275g Self-Raising Flour
75g Cocoa Powder
3 big bars of white, dark & milk chocolate
Splash of Milk

Step 1: Slightly melt your unsalted butter in the microwave to soften it up and mix with the caster sugar so that it becomes smooth and creamy (kind of like my photo above). Add the egg and mix well.

Step 2: Add the Flour and Cocoa Powder and fold in (no need for a sieve), you can add a splash of milk here and there if the mixture is too dry, but just make sure you don't add too much! Then Breakup your chocolate into chunks and fold into the mixture.

Step 3: Protect your baking trays! I use butter and flour for this as it greases the tray but ensures that your bake is easy to remove from the tray - I use this over grease-proof any day! Then pop your cookies in (reasonable sized) balls onto the tray and in an oven that has been pre-heated to 220°C for 10 Minutes. I actually had to leave mine in for 15-20 because I accidentally made some beastly cookies! Then leave to cool for about 30 mins!

The finished products! Some gorgeous Chunky Three-Chocolate cookies! Thanks Viviana, This recipe is delicious! Have you tried this recipe before? What did you think of it?

Beauty | My Charlotte Tilbury Collection

I must admit that I have a really massive obsession with Charlotte Tilbury at the moment. So much so that on a recent work trip to Birmingham and Manchester, I bought items in both Selfridges and then again when I got home online. It's terrible and I blame Charlotte entirely on how very depressing it is to now look at my bank account. I've been quite in love with the Makeup-Artist for some time now and have been waiting to get my hands on her makeup collection ever since it was launched. I started a couple of months back with my first Matte Revolution Lipstick and Lip Cheat and ever since then I'd been dying to buy a couple more bits - you can click to see my first post of the Lipstick and Lip Cheat Review.

As many of you may know, recently I've been dedicated to only wearing powder mineral foundation (my go-to being from BareMinerals) but after being given a sample of Charlotte Tilbury's Light Wonder foundation -£32 (in no other than the exact right shade for me) I ordered it almost immediately and haven't looked back since. I still only wear this on special occasions, I'm not 100% converted back to liquid just yet but I am really loving this foundation more than most. It blends really well with my Beauty Blender and with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and the coverage it gives is just what I've been looking for for a while now. It's really thin in it's consistency which is something that I really love with a foundation; I always steer clear of overly thick formulations. This foundation in particular really lets your skin breathe and I really love how it gives the perfect finish.

The next product I've been loving has been the Colour Chameleon Eyeshadow stick in Champagne Diamonds- £19. I've never been one for eyeshadow sticks before but the colour of this one really did just steal my heart. It's a shimmery champagne gold and no joke, it lasts hours. When I was in Selfridges in Birmingham the sales assistant serving me showed a swatch on her arm and it literally doesn't budge once applied. I absolutely love using this shade in the centre of my lids after applying a base cream shadow and a dark burgundy in the outer corners, it really ties in the look and with a taupe / matte brown shade under my eyes to define them a little more and a slick of the next product I'm about to talk about as my liner, this is a serious contender for my favourite every day look at the moment. No matter how much you try to smudge this product once it is set it really isn't going anywhere, until that is, you decide to take off your makeup with a cleansing water. I really love this product and am already adding more to my wish list!

Charlotte's The Feline Flick Eyeliner Pen (£22) is my next new purchase; I bought this online at the same time as the Light wonder foundation to stop myself from having to pay postage. I mean come on, who wouldn't rather pay an extra £15 to get another product and free postage instead of wasting £5.99 on having your product delivered? - I'm sure there is some logic there somewhere! Nevertheless I haven't regretted buying this product so far and I (here we go again) am really loving the results. I'm not the best at a good flick (let alone a great one) and so perfecting my cat-eye look has always been difficult for me, however this product has made everything so much easier for me. Unlike other felt-tip like eyeliner pens that I have tried in the past, this ones has a very slight nib and so that means I'm easily getting a much more precise line. After seeing a video by Thumbelina Lillie on Youtube recently, I've picked up the tip of using tape / masking tape on my face to get the most precise flick that I can and my gosh with this pen it sure does work (I've tried it in the past with other eyeliners I have not had the best experience). Would definitely recommend this super black 'panther' liner to everyone.

Last but not least are my lip products! As I mentioned above you can see my reviews on the Lip Cheat in Pink Venus and Matte Revolution lipstick in Sexy Sienna here. As for my other purchased product this month, I picked up the Lip Cheat in Berry Naughty (£16). I really like Charlotte Tilbury Lip Pencils, they're soft to apply and last a really long time and the colour pay off is fantastic. I really like applying a lip liner before my lipstick as it stops my colours from bleeding and this colour is perfect for applying under purple / burgundy shades and even though we're now coming into Summer, I do still love a vampy lip sometimes.

My obsession with Charlotte Tilbury is ongoing and I already have the Filmstar Bronze and Glow Highlight and Bronzing powder duo and the Full Fat Lashes Mascara  added to my wish list! Have you ever tried any Charlotte Tilbury products or are you wanting to get any? Let me know in the comments.

Beauty | MAC Favourites

Before I began blogging I was honestly a bit of a makeup newbie; I posted about my new Barry M nail polishes and my first experiences of Real Technique makeup brushes and I had never even entertained the thought of buying a MAC product. Then we turn today and look at the woman / beauty blogger that I have become and look at my ever expanding beauty stash and it's a wonder how I've become this obsessed quite so quickly. Regardless of that, along the way I've picked up some gorgeous makeup pieces and especially within MAC so today I thought I'd show you all my top 5 favourite MAC products right now.

MAC Pro Palette in Warm Neutral | £65 | Link

This is a palette that I had been lusting over for quite some time and was planning on purchasing when a friend received their MAC beauty student discount, but when I was recently on a work trip to Glasgow I hit up World Duty Free at the Airport and managed to buy this beauty at a steal price of £54. I know a lot of you are thinking that I surely don't need yet another eyeshadow palette, I mean, who would when they have all 3 Naked Palettes, both Naked Basics, a MAC quad and a new Stila palette, but if you're an obsessive like me, you'll understand. This Warm Neutrals palette has all of the gorgeous shades required for the perfect smokey eye - I absolutely love shades: 1 - Hey, 2 - Gingersnap, 3 - Amber Lights, 4 - Lemon Tart, 5 - Devine Decadence and 6 - Dark Brew (shown in the photos below). They create such a lovely look blended on the eye and it's definitely become my staple look since buying this palette. It has got to be my most prized MAC possession!

MAC Prep + Prime Highlight in Radiant Rose | £18.50 | Link

I have to say that this one was a naughty spontaneous purchase buy (when aren't my purchases), I'd been eyeing up the YSL Touché Éclat for some time previous and decided to take the plunge with this MAC version to try first. I fell in love with it and now use it everyday to highlight my face under my eyes, on my forehead and down my nose and chin. Inevitably during my stint at the Airport I ended up buying the YSL highlight, but besides that, I think for ease of use I actually prefer the MAC Prep + Prime (the twisty bottom instead of the push button is so much more ideal). I really love how this instantly brightens up certain areas of my face and lasts a really long tim - I get sick and tired of my highlights never really lasting that long and this one definitely does a perfect job of staying put!

MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in Lightscapade | £23 | Link

I fell in love with this powder as soon as I set my eyes on it. I've also got Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle and not even that cult product can compare to my love for Lightscapade. Having a multitude of soft colours mixed throughout, this powder also has a multi-dimensional shimmer to it creating the most perfect translucent highlighter out there (in my opinion of course). I absolutely love how it effortlessly emphasises the natural glow in my skin and manages to blend easily too. On top of the Prep and Prime Liquid Highlight (above) this works so well and is my new favourite highlight combo!

MAC Lipsticks in Velvet Teddy and  Viva Glam Miley | £15.50 | Link - Link

Velvet Teddy has been a coveted lipstick in the MAC world ever since Kylie Jenner pouted those lips of her and made the announcement that this was the famous shade she was wearing. After a couple of weeks of endlessly searching myself, my beaut of a best friend Abbee handed me hers (relatively unused) as it didn't suit her - such a total babe!  Ever since, it's been an absolute favourite of mine and  I wear it almost every day! The second fave is the most vibrant of my stash; Viva Glam Miley. I wrote a review here about this lipstick if you want to see how much I love it in a little more detail, but for a girl that has rarely liked bright lipsticks, this is one that I've really taken too.

So there we have it! My top 5 favourite MAC products - do you share any of these with me? What would you say your favourite MAC products are? I could always do with a couple more recommendations in the comments for my next shopping spree!
